Good point .. though .. wierd effect. when i call it control to the clients. they press command ! ... Go Figure !

ps .. I actually dont own a Mac I just keep helping my Clients move to them ! how twisted is that ! really !

Ctrl plus the mouse click is your equivalent to the right click. Your CD Drive does exist its just well hidden ( Apple design really well ) You do have a Network connection on the laptop, yes the cable will fit, its not non standard. If you absolutely cannot live without ANOther Windows Application then install Parallels and a copy of Windows. Congratulations you now have a virtual Machine that is a file which can be copied and backed up.
You can get MS Office for a Mac but considering NeoOffice and other apps can do the job of writting text , do you really need it.
No .. there is not need to go out and buy all the usual AntiVirus and Spam Blocking and Spyware blocking tools, your a Mac user now , your Time is your own
